Affari finds a new home in the Dryden Enterprise Centre
Nottingham based creative agency, Affari Media, have signed their lease to join Nottingham's new home for enterprise...
The DEC, as it is also known, is Nottingham Trent University’s brand-new centre for enterprise. The £9m project, supported in part by the European Regional Development Fund, includes office space, state-of-the-art event and meeting facilities and programmes of unique events and business support, all on hand to help businesses grow, flourish, and thrive.
A real wow factor
Celebrating their 9th year in business, Affari Managing Director and co-founder Craig Brothers said:
“The DEC is an amazing space, not only in how it looks but also how the Enterprise team at NTU have created everything with businesses in mind. Being based here gives us the opportunity to flex our business up or down depending on what our staff and clients need. Moving here will have a real positive impact on our staff and customers, we’ll have the freedom we’re looking for and a real ‘wow’ factor.
And after a year of being stuck at home we all can’t wait to work together and collaborate again, this is the perfect space for it.”

Shared workspace at the Dryden Enterprise Centre
Ben Hankin, Affari’s Creative Director and co-founder added:
“We started Affari as just the two of us, working from back-bedrooms and kitchen tables. Now we’re a fully-fledged creative agency with 19 employees. Something like the DEC would have been incredible for us starting out, but even as an established business there’s a lot we’ll be able to take advantage of being here.
Its obvious a deal of thought has gone into the space to create something that’s not just about businesses but also people. It’s going to be a great place to do great work.”
Working together as a community
From flexible desk space to premium serviced offices the Dryden Enterprise Centre can give businesses ranging from start-ups and microbusinesses to growing organisations and established SMEs a place to call home.
Megan Powell Vreeswijk, is NTU’s Head of Enterprise and said:
“Having Affari onboard is fantastic. Now we have our building we’re creating the foundations of a community that can benefit each other. We’ve already welcomed a number of start-ups and micro SMEs, having a business like Affari here can show our other members what is possible and give wider opportunities for collaboration.”
