Female Focus

Friday 2nd September

12 noon until 13.00 – Front of House

Discussion and insight with female enterprise and support front and centre.

Informal networking, advice and speaker sessions for female employees and founders. Come together and encourage female led businesses and career progression.

Willow Weaving

Wednesday 7th September

12.30pm – 1.30pm

Back by popular demand, enjoy some mindful time learning a new skill.

Hosted either on the Deck or Front of House (weather permitting) our willow weaving wonder Kerry will share techniques to keep hands busy and minds quiet.

Thursday Thinktank

Thursday 8th September

9.00am – 5.00pm

We’re opening the Lounge for a next level collaborative working session.

Take time away from your usual space to work alongside fellow DEC Members. Problem solve, share skills and collaborate as part of the enterprise community.

Breakfast Club

Wednesday 14th September

9.00am – 10.00am

Join us in Front of House for breakfast the 2nd Wednesday of each month.

Get conversations started with an opportunity to mix, mingle and get energised for the day ahead!

Lunch Club

Monday 19th September

12 noon – 1 pm

Ditch the desk Join us in Front of House for lunch the 3rd Monday of each month.

Sometimes it’s nice to have time away from your screen and share a meal with colleagues. You bring the lunch, and we’ll provide a place and a space.

Employability Office Hours

Wednesday 21st September

9.00 am – 12 noon

Meet NTU’s Employability Team in Front House each month.

Drop-in sessions for advice from NTU’s employability team. From placements to recruiting graduates, the friendly team can answer all of your employability questions.

DEC Connect

Thursday 22nd September

9.30 am – 10.30am

An opportunity for DEC members to meet, network and connect with each other.

DEC Connect sessions give you the opportunity to share news and information about you and your business, along with requesting advice and support from the wider NTU Enterprise community.

Fromage Friday

Friday 23rd September

4 pm – 5 pm

Bonjour Friday! It might sound cheesy – but it’s nice to spend time together.

A chance DEC members to meet, mingle and relax at the end of the month. We’ll supply nibbles while members bring along a cheese of choice to share – monthly prizes for the tastiest and most unique fromage (but not too stinky please).
